Yangpu Port, Hainan Province, China is a port in Yangpu Economic Development Zone, Hainan Province, China. The open port is planning to expand the construction of the container hub port and build five new container berths as part of the construction of the regional container hub.

As of the end of 2021, the number of registered ships in the “China Yangpu Port” registry port has reached 30, and the total tonnage has increased from 670,000 before 2018 to 5.5 million, ranking among the top three in the country.
The Yangpu port expansion project is expected to start construction in September this year, with four new 200,000-ton container berths and one 150,000-ton container berth, with an annual designed throughput of 5.5 million TEUs.
With the gradual completion of the container facility project of Xiaochantan Container Terminal in Yangpu Port, the overall container handling capacity and efficiency of the port have been greatly improved ocean freight.
In the first half of 2022, the container throughput of Yangpu Port was 823,000 TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 45.7%.
In order to further improve the transportation services between Hainan and the RCEP region, Hainan will open international transit or direct flights from Yangpu to ports in Singapore, Vietnam, Australia and other countries.
